Yes. My OCD probably started in 4th grade and then got super bad in high school and college. OCD was not a thing way back when and the first treatment medicines only came out in college. Your story reminded me of the suffering I went through mostly alone and wondering why the neurons in my mind just wouldn't connect properly. But like you, it made me who I am and I beat it! Only after years and years and endless trial and error. So thank you so much.
