Wow Mike-man. Powerful account. I don't know what to say but you did your job in trying to keep things calm. Sorry about the parents. I can only imagine what they went through at Uvalde when the calavary tried to hold them back and really never came to the rescue.

I got no solutions - which is rare for me. Do you think public schools are particulary vulnerable as private schools can expel students when necessary? Just a random thought.

Hey, I found a writers retreat in the Carolina mountains end of next month. Have to stretch this summer....Maybe I will write about it.
