To answer your question, I have. Yet it doesn't push me to buy an assault rifle and research past cases of mass shootings to be prepared to take lives of people including children most efficiently. This was not a crime of passion. It was a cold, calculated plan of attack to relieve one's personal pain by causing communal pain 1000 times worse.

Self responsibility is a heavy responsibility and I very much agree, society could take steps to lessen the violence and make it harder to commit. But in the end, individual responsibility can never be totally abdicated, explained away, or institutionalized.
