Thanks for your insights Greyson and explaining the blue dollar system. As you are sharing, the free ride that US Dollar holders have benefitted if not exploited is over. The new president has made no secret that an austerity program has just started and that there will be pain.

Unlike, oh, the past half dozen of administrations who have been unwilling to implement. Oh, and the free ride everybody gets a government job is ending. This stinks as guaranteed employment was never sustainable and everyone knew it.

But the whole of South American inflation has been more or less confronted by the other countries ---even the always corrupt Brasilian government leaders. But the beautiful, hyper intelligent Argentine with all their resources someone thought they could avoid pain forever.

I like your writing and would like to hear about the emerging entrepreneurial sector of Argentine. This is their opportunity and you being there could explain what the obstacles and successes are. The world needs to hear them but it seems like they don't exist except for the small Bodega owner, etc.

Appreciate your input. Their is a quality of life that still should be attractive to independent travelers whether they can arbitrage cost of living differences or not. Am following. Thank you.
