Here’s how much I got paid

Well, I must be a gall-darn Search Engine Optimization (SEO) savant! I wrote a story with no SEO strategy in mind, no keywords, no optimization, no nothing. Yet, despite my lack of algorithm manipulation — 1100 people from the online world found me. Not sure what going viral means, but it kind of feels like it.

Kinda. Sorta.

So being a newbie, I am very proud of this accomplishment.

This is despite the fact that I’ve only been paid 26 cents so far. You see, Medium only pays you from reads of actual paid members — not outsiders viewing the page. It is up to us to capitalize on those new eyeballs — (You can sign up for my free Goal Setting Checklist below). Call it proof of concept if not riches. I’m in it for the long run.

Now onward with more ways to grow my community and recognition.
