Meatloaf is dead
Did you like Meatloaf?
Unless you are an old-timer and/or lover of the old midnight movie classic — “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” — you may not be aware that Meatloaf is dead.
The name may sound weird but it wasn’t some ploy for fame. The singer, Marvin Lee Aday, overweight and scruffy just fit into it.
This unlikely pop singer put out classic songs that captured the teenage spirit and heart.
Meatloaf touched on the outsider, uncool-kid nerve that unhinged the majority of us teens. He was the encapsulation of who we were — unsure where we fit in, trying so hard to make a romantic connection, winning a few. Losing most.
And for his classics, who can forget the infamous —
Paradise by the dashboard light?
