Maybe it is time to cut history out since the grownups can't keep their agendas out of it. Let's focus on STEAM courses as it's a tough world out there and the kids not the adults need to be prepared for success. Pragmatically, home schooling of history class (only)may solve this. Remember the kids are up against private school kids where their educations come first and a priori.
