I'm seeing some positive signs especially with Kacey Musgraves country stories and teaming up with Jason Aldean on some songs. Also, Luke Combs bringing Tracey Chapman into the country fold with the epic story, "Fast Cars." I think the old school country songs still have their place but there is a much wider audience to capture with newer artists that sing about more than beer, ex-wives, trucks, and their dogs.
