I saw the movie "Her" years ago and it scared the heck out of me as the protagonist fell in love with his "operating system" girl. And then got angry when he found out he was not the only one. The Her era is here.

Western society drumbeat for unending equity and entitlements over family, partially brought on the need to look elsewhere, but it just sped things up.
