Great article, William. I was thinking that all fraternities should be banned in the US because traditional fraternities are toxic places of alcohol and other major abuses. I'm not as familiar with the Divine Nine and hope that these are the exceptions. I've generally heard good things.

As you know, many are concerned that already hyper liberal universities already represent--- and for years--the extreme left and are less representative of students who are not. Try to find a moderate or God-forbid Republican at Harvard College...or any of the major universities....for example.

I know Florida is going crazy to the right and your points are well made. However, you can see where national sentiment is also coming from. Obscenely expensive colleges have added a huge bureaucracy of DEI officers but students are not reporting major improvements in satisfaction especially when the schools already have LGBQ+ groups in place. And students with disabilities covered by ADA have fewer representatives in comparison.

So just wanted to add a national perspective without diminishing the crazy counter extremes that Florida is taking.
