Does writing Morning Pages really make your day better?

I’m suspicious but am going to try anyways

I “hate” these morning page writing suggestions as I hate mornings. I’m going to try them anyways. Morning Pages for those not familiar is a practice founded by Julia Cameron in the Artist’s Way. It is supposed to be good for your writing and cathartic.

Here are my morning (page) thoughts for today March 8th.

Gratitude:

  1. I loved that I found the article on how people ignore homeless people. It was written by Dr Victoria Powell. It’s eye-opening.

I love that I responded to Dr. Victoria because the article was great but it focused mostly on all the problems and little on the solutions.

I pride myself as a man of action and found a link with suggestions about providing homeless people with socks and Mcdonald’s gift cards as you walk by — -and not being a jerk and walking by them feeling helpless and afraid. I’m going to try and buy the Mac cards and check for socks at the TJX store this week.
