Dear Uwem, I felt like a took a punch to the stomach reading your writing as if I was there. I am so glad you ended the story with the positive spirit that these brave people are enduring. Edidong's story is beyond words bad and you want to fight for her so bad. I have done some work with Catholic relief services in Guatemala.
