The Olympics make us proud of America again
Cheering for Team USA in the Paris Olympics has been so much fun. Black, White, Women, Men we all cheered like crazy. We appreciated the French landmarks — what a beautiful venue.
The odd couple, Snoop Dog and Martha Stewart, were on hand to provide insight, family support, and positive athletic rapport. Can we keep them as honorary political leaders?
We cheer for the big, small, the nerds, the amazing muscles and our National Anthem. For 3 weeks we are free from the internal self-hating, the entitlements. If you give your best to your sport, you win in our hearts.
How about integrating the Paralympic team? How about having both men and women on swimming and running relays?
So freaking cool!
